He married in Indiana about 1840, Nancy McCalment, who was born 17 July 1816 in Ohio, daughter of Alex McCalment and Nancy [McCalment], died 13 November 1906 in Moravia, Appanoose County, Iowa and was buried in Eaton Cemetery, Appanoose County, Iowa.
