01. William Moderal Patrick was born in Giles County, TN, 8 July 1842, died in Unionville, Appanoose County, IA, 22 December 1903, and was buried in the Unionville Cemetery, Appanoose County, IA. He was married by the Rev. I. D. Sidwell at the home of Samuel Hardin in Taylor Township, Appanoose County, Iowa, 24 January 1867, to Elizabeth Jane Hardin, who was born 29 March 1844, daughter of Samuel Hardin and Nancy McCalment, died 17 April 1906 in Appanoose County, Iowa, and was buried in the Unionville Cemetery, Appanoose County, Iowa.
02. Sarah Jane Patrick was born in Giles County, TN, c1843. She married in Appanoose County, Iowa, 28 January 1863, Thomas M. Skinner who was born in Ohio, 3 December 1839, died in Iowa, 5 April 1917, and was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Taylor Township, Appanoose County, IA.
03. John Thomas Patrick was born in Giles County, TN, April 1846, and died in Blaine County, NE, 1900-1910. He married in Appanoose County, IA, 20 October 1878, Margaret M. Sales.
04. Mary Persila Patrick was born in Giles County, TN, 22 December 1847, and died in Lucas, Russell County, KS, 11 November 1909. She married in Appanoose County, IA, 7 December 1868, Frances M. Smith.
05. Susannah Charlet Patrick was born in Giles County, TN, 5 March 1850, and died in Decatur County, IA, 25 January 1888. She married in Appanoose County, IA, 7 January 1877, Nathaniel B. Warrington.
06. Samuel Matthew Patrick was born in Appanoose County, IA, 24 December 1853, and died after 1930 in Nebraska.
07. George Washington Patrick was born in Appanoose County, IA, 27 March 1856, and died after 1930.
08. Laura Ann Patrick was born in Moravia, Appanoose County, IA, 13 February 1858, died at her home two miles west of Udell, Appanoose County, IA, 3 April 1930, and was buried in the Moravia Cemetery following services at the United Brethren Church in Moravia with the Rev. D. W. Thompson officiating. She married in Appanoose County, IA, 16 February 1881, Noah H. Coe. To this union were born eleven children.

Livona Angeline Patrick was born in Appanoose County, IA, 26 April 1860, died in Appanoose County, IA, 15 August 1941, and was buried in the Salem Cemetery, Chariton Township, Appanoose County, IA, following funeral services in the United Brethren Church in Moravia conducted by the Rev. F. C. Scott of Toledo, IA, former pastor of the local church. She married in Appanoose County, IA, 30 March 1884, T. J. "Jet" Jones who died 28 July 1907, age 55 years, 6 months, 3 days, and was buried in the Salem Cemetery.
11. Jefferson "Jessie" Festus Patrick was born in Moravia, Appanoose County, IA, 14 March 1862, and died 30 May 1948 in IA. He married in Moravia, Appanoose County, IA, 12 September 1886, Laura Ancie Jones who was born in Monroe County, IA, c1867, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Jones, died at her home west of Moravia, Appanoose County, IA, in September 1936 shortly after they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, and was buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, Moravia, Appanoose County, IA, following funeral services at the United Brethren Church in Moravia with Rev. S. C. Scott officiating. One child was born of this union: Ida M. Patrick (1900-1974) who married Ulyssess S. Mangle (1886-1958).
