Thomas Hardin, Sr. [1776-1863]

  Thomas Hardin, Sr. was born in Virginia, 9 March 1776, died 20 January 1863 in Montezuma, Poweshiek County, Iowa, and was buried in Eaton Cemetery, Unionville, Appanoose County, Iowa.

  He married in Virginia, about 1802, Mary "Polly" Wilson, who was born in North Carolina, 12 January 1786, daughter of Isaac Wilson and Katy Griner, and died 10 April 1855 in Montezuma, Poweshiek County, Iowa.
